A high potency, active, vitamin B12 supplement providing a combined dose of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, which are both active forms of B12 of this important vitamin.

Contains 500µg of methylcobalamin and 500µg of adenosylcobalamin.

People at particular risk of vitamin B12 deficiency include those eating a vegan or vegetarian diet, and people with low stomach acid or other digestive conditions which can lead to malabsorption.

What can contribute to vitamin B12 deficiency?

Vitamin B12 deficiency is not uncommon and can be caused by:

  • Low stomach acid (e.g. due to long-term antacid medication, proton pump inhibitors, H2 blockers, ageing or zinc deficiency)

  • Vegan and vegetarian diets, as vitamin B12 is primarily bound to animal proteins
